Innovation and 'Cut-Throat' vs. 'Cuddly' Capitalism....

Just in case anyone is wondering, this is a repost of a previous post.  I had to delete the original because spam trackbacks were hammering my email in-box and taking the time to get rid of all the spam was getting ridiculous.

Lately, I have been reading a book by Darron Acemoglu (M.I.T.) and James Robinson   (Harvard)  Why Nations Fail.  It is a fascinating book that can be easily downloaded onto your iPad or Kindle and well worth the read.  I plan to write several posts regarding the content of this book and its implications for innovation in America.

Forced to remove trackback option...

For the time being, I have been forced to disable trackbacks to my posts...My system was simply being flooded with spammers and my email was crammed with trackbacks that had to be discarded as spam.  I don't have time for this sort of nonsense.  In all likelihood, someone who is doing a lot of people's SEO has suddenly grasped onto my site.  I found several angry messages from other bloggers on the sites where the trackbacks led.  So, for the time being, DO NOT link back to my site.  I have disabled trackbacks.  It is a shame that some who practice black-hat techniques ruin it for everyone.
